ARMY

Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Great River, New York, is being awarded a$15,665,924 firm fixed price contract for 7 mobile automated test facilitiesfor testing weapon systems. Work will be performed in Rolling Meadows,Illinois (54%), Benton Park, Pennsylvania (17%), Clarksburg, West Virginia(15%), and Great River, New York (14%), and is expected to be completed bySeptember 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. This is a sole source delivery order contract initiated onOctober 24, 1995. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command,Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-96-D-0019).

Astronautics Corporation of America, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is being awarded afirm fixed price contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issuedwith each delivery order) with an estimated not-to-exceed $18,619,829cumulative total, for up to a maximum of 13,089 Command Instrument ProcessorsCP-2036/A. Work will be performed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is expected tobe completed by March 31, 2001. This is a sole source contract initiated onJanuary 11, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications andElectronics Command, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-D-B757).

Xetron Corporation, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $23,152,641 firmfixed price with time and materials contract for 476 Frequency HoppingMultiplexers TD-1456/VRC, with various spares and repair parts, andmiscellaneous special tools and data items for Single Channel Ground andAirborne Radio Systems (SINCGARS). Work will be performed in Cincinnati, Ohio(75%), and Tampa, Florida (25%), and is expected to be completed by June 30,2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.This is a sole source contract initiated on November 24, 1995. The contractingactivity is the U.S. Army Communications and Electronics Command, FortMonmouth, New Jersey (DAAB07-96-C-D007).

Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Stratford, Connecticut, is being awarded an$11,705,000 modification to a firm fixed price contract to exercise option fortwo UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters, modified to S-70A-21 Egyptian VIPconfiguration. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut, and isexpected to be completed by April 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire atthe end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiatedon February 23, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation andTroop Command, St. Louis, Missouri (DAAJ09-92-C-0004).

United Defense, Limited Partnership, York, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a$48,512,000 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 24 HerculesImproved Recovery Vehicles and corresponding spares. Work will be performed inYork, Pennsylvania, and is expected to be completed by July 30, 1998. Contractfunds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a solesource contract initiated on January 11, 1996. The contracting activity is theU.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Michigan(DAAE07-94-C-0429).

NAVY

Kollsman, Incorporated, Merrimack, New Hampshire, is being awarded a$16,995,880 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-0211 toexercise an option for two night targeting systems for U.S. Marine CorpsReserve AH-1W helicopters, 12 night targeting systems and 10 night targetingsystem telescopic site units for the Navy Inventory Control Point,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Work will be performed in Merrimack, NewHampshire, and is expected to be completed by June 1998. Contract funds in theamount of $1,544,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. TheNaval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

Magnavox Electronics, Incorporated, Fort Wayne, Indiana, is being awarded a$15,341,210 firm-fixed-price contract for 20,057 AN/SSQ-110A sonobuoys,associated

test units, and data. Work will be performed in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and isexpected to

be completed by May 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal

year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicitedand two offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division,Indianapolis, Indiana, is the contracting activity (N00163-96-C-0128).

United Defense, L.P., Armament Systems Division, Minneapolis, Minnesota, isbeing awarded a $5,450,473 firm-fixed-price letter contract for the procurementand manufacture of Long Lead Time Material (LLTM) for the 5"/54 MK Gun Mount,operational on DDG 51 class ships. Work will be performed in Minneapolis,Minnesota, and is expected to be completed

by July 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea SystemsCommand, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00024-96-C-5231).

AIR FORCE

General Atomics, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $8,422,488 costplus fixed fee contract to provide an Intelligent Metacomputing Testbed toprovide the government with research and development associated with thecomputer science of distributed metacomputing and supercomputing environmentsto handle data-intensive and numerically intensive application of metacomputingconcepts to electronic commerce with federal government. Contract is expectedto be completed November 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. A Broad Agency Announcement was placed in theCommerce Business Daily; 16 proposals were received. Solicitation began May1995; ;negotiations were complete April 1996. Electronic Systems Center,Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts is the contracting activity(F19628-96/C-0020).

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded a$14,500,000 face value increase to a fixed price incentive contract to providefor one Antenna Radar in support of the Joint Surveillance Target Attack RadarSystem (JSTARS) configured for the E-8 aircraft.. Contract is expected to becompleted August 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air ForceBase, Georgia is the contracting activity (F19628-92/C-0035, P00252).

McDonnell Douglas Corporation, Long Beach, California, is being awarded a$14,233,100 face value increase to a firm fixed fee contract to provide forinstallation of defensive systems retrofit and kits for sixteen aircraft.Logistic Support Analysis is included in this modification to enable fitting onaircraft P-33. Contract is expected to be completed December 1996. Contractfunds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. AeronauticalSystems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contractingactivity (F33657-95/C-2027, P00001).

Hughes Training, Incorporated, Arlington, Texas, is being awarded a $6,014,153face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide an extension ofthe operation, maintenance and support of the C-141 Aircrew Training System forFY1996 and the Satellite Learning Center at McGuire Air Force Base for FY1996.The work will be performed at Hughes Training, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma(45%) and other C-141 main operating bases and Reserve/National Guard units inthe continental United States. Contract is expected to be completed September1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is thecontracting activity (F33657-89/C-0039, P00083).

E-Systems, Incorporated, Greenville, Texas, is being awarded a $8,700,000 facevalue increase to a cost-reimbursable contract to provide for contractorlogistics support for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar (JSTARS)airframe, fleet of 18 aircraft (Boeing 707) plus one maintenance trainer.Contract is expected to be completed September 1999. Contract funds will notexpire at the end of the current fiscal year. Warner Robins Air LogisticsCenter is the contracting activity (F09603-94/C-0850, P00016).
