ARMY

Black & Veatch Special Project Corporation, Overland Park, Kansas, is beingawarded a $6,478,022 firm fixed price contract for the complete design andconstruction of drilling and equipping two new water wells, constructing a 3.5million gallon steel water storage tank, installing approximately 49,000 linearfeet of new water transmission lines; replace water system controls andtelemetry with a new SCADA system on Kirtland Air Force Base. Work will beperformed in Albuquerque**, New Mexico, and is expected to be completed byDecember 20, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. There were 85 bids solicited on January 9, 1995, and seven bidsreceived. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,Albuquerque, New Mexico (DACA47-96-C-0013).

Swank Enterprises, Valier, Montana, is being awarded a $6,870,000 firm fixedprice contract for construction of a training site support facility ofapproximately 85,140 square feet of housing for soldiers, to include kitchen,dining, and laundry facilities, storage and administrative spaces for theMontana Army National Guard at Fort William Henry Harrison. Work will beperformed in Helena, Montana, and is expected to be completed by August 30,1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.There were 79 bids solicited on February 2, 1996, and ten bids received. Thecontracting activity is the National Guard Bureau, Helena, Montana(DAHA24-96-C-0007).

NAVY

STANDARD Missile Company, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a $8,977,555modification to previously awarded contract N00024-95-C-5324 to provideengineering and technical services to support the STANDARD Missile productionfor the U.S. Navy and Allied Navies on a level of effort basis in the areas ofdesign, systems and production support, shipboard integration, All-Up-Round,Intermediate Level Maintenance Facility and Depot Level Maintenance Facilitytest equipment support. Work will be performed in McLean, Virginia

(28%), Tucson, Arizona (36%), and Bristol, Tennessee (36%), and is expected tobe completed by April 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (99%),and the Government of Canada (1%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS)Program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is thecontracting activity.

Litton Guidance and Control Systems, Northridge, California, is being awardeda $7,722,780 modification to previously awarded contract N00163-95-C-0124 toexercise an option for 78 AN/APN-217(V)6 Radar Navigation Systems for theUnited States Navy (64),

the Government of Taiwan (7), and the Government of Turkey (7). Work will beperformed

in Northridge, California, and is expected to be completed by August 1998.Contract funds

will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combinespurchases for the

U.S. Navy (82%), the Government of Turkey (9%), and the Government of Taiwan(9%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. The Naval Air WarfareCenter, Aircraft Division, Indianapolis, Indiana, is the contractingactivity.

Texas Instruments, Incorporated, Defense Systems and Electronics Group,Dallas, Texas, is being awarded a $9,319,329 modification to previously awardedcontract N00019-95-C-0198 to exercise an option for 6 AN/APS-137B(V)5 SyntheticAperture Radars for the P-3C aircraft. This radar system provides the abilityto do both maritime and over-land range surveillance with a selectableresolution to allow target detection, allowing the P-3C aircraft to providereal time data, including targeting information, to the Battle Group Commander.Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed byMay 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contractingactivity.

Space and Sensors Associates, Vienna, Virginia, is being awarded a $20,864,708indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, time and materials, contract fortechnical support services for Command, Control, Communication and ComputerIntelligence (C4I). This contract is not to exceed the ceiling price. Workwill be performed in Arlington, Virginia, and is expected to be completed byMarch 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This contract was competitively procured, having 54 proposals solicitedand two offers received. The Space and Naval Warface Systems Command,Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00039-96-D-0074).
