ARMY

Advanced Engineering & Planning Corporation, Incorporated*, Rockville,Maryland, is being awarded an increment (appropriation number and dollar valuewill be issued with each task order) as part of a $33,000,000 indefinitedelivery/indefinite quantity (task order) contract for programmatic andtechnical support services (contracted consulting services) in support of theU.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command. Work will be performed in St. Louis,Missouri and Rockville, Maryland in accordance with task order requirements,and is expected to be completed in April, 2001. There were 200 bids solicitedon September 22, 1995, and seven bids received. The contracting activity isthe U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command, St. Louis, Missouri(DAAJ09-96-D-0024).

COBRO Corporation*, Earth City, Missouri, is being awarded an increment(appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each task order) aspart of a $33,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (task order)contract for programmatic and technical support services (contracted consultingservices) in support of the U.S. Army Aviation and Troop Command. Work will beperformed in St. Louis, Missouri and Earth City, Missouri in accordance withtask order requirements, and is expected to be completed in April, 2001. River City Construction Company, Benton, Illinois, is being awarded a$7,825,000 firm fixed price contract for construction of a 50,000 square foot,3-story brick dormitory with associated sitework, including parking,landscaping and utilities. The dormitory will be masonry construction withprecase concrete floor planks and a standing seam metal roof. Work will beperformed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, and is expected to be completed byAugust 7, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. There were 29 bids solicited on February 16, 1996, and one bidwas received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,Louisville, Kentucky (DACA27-96-C-0056).

Alliant Techsystems, Incorporated, Hopkins, Minnesota, is being awarded a$14,396,337 modification to a firm fixed price contract for 562,710 25mm M910cartridges and 652,775 25mm M793 cartridges in support of the Bradley FightingVehicle. Work will be performed in Joliet, Illinois, and is expected to becompleted by September 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on December 15, 1995,and two bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament,Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois (DAAA09-95-C-0061).

NAVY

Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company, Newport News, Virginia, isbeing awarded a $9,100,000 modification to previously awarded contractN00024-93-2103 for design familiarization in the New Attack Submarine (NSSN)Program which will include liaison with the lead shipbuilder, development ofdesign transfer procedures and processes, and digital data

transfer exchange efforts. Work will be performed in Newport News, Virginia,and is expected

to be completed by January 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end ofthe current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia,is the contracting activity.

McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis,Missouri, is being awarded a $37,078,674 modification to previously awardedcontract N00019-94-C-0058 to provide additional funds to an advancedacquisition contract for the FY 1995 production program of (12) T-45 aircrafttraining systems. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri (70%);

and Kingston, United Kingdom (30%), and is expected to be completed bySeptember 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is thecontracting activity.

Science Applications International Corporation, San Diego, California, isbeing

awarded a $5,641,116 fixed-price, indefinite quantity contract forenvironmental studies and documentation needed for the preparation of NationalEnvironmental Policy Act (NEPA) categorical exclusions, environmentalassessments and environmental impact statements,

and resource-specific studies and reports. Work will be performed in SanFrancisco, California (25%), China Lake, California (25%), and Fallon, Nevada(50%) , and is expected to be completed by April 1999. Contract funds will notexpire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitivelyprocured with 147 proposals solicited and ten offers received. The EngineeringField Activity West, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San Bruno,California, is the contracting activity (N62474-95-D-2543).

Wilkinson and Jenkins Construction,* St. Petersburg, Florida, is being awardeda $23,385,484 indefinite quantity contract for operation and maintenance energyservices at various buildings in the Norfolk, Virginia area. Work will beperformed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by April 1997.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Thiscontract was competitively procured with 100 proposals solicited and one offerreceived. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division,Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N62470-95-D-1158).

Richard Beach Builder, Incorporated,* Newport News, Virginia, is being awardeda $5,282,450 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a Bachelor EnlistedQuarters and community center at the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center,Williamsburg, Virginia. Work

will be performed in Williamsburg, Virginia, and is expected to be completed bySeptember 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the currentfiscal year.
