ARMY

Olin Corporation/Winchester Division, Independence, Missouri, is being awardeda $14,576,526 modification to a cost plus award fee contract for the operationand maintenance of a government owned/contractor operated facility. Work willbe performed at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, Independence, Missouri,and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1996. Contract funds will notexpire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 17 bids solicited onOctober 3, 1984, and seven bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S.Army Armament, Munitions, and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Illinois(DAAA09-91-Z-0009).

AIR FORCE

Loral Corporation, Owego, New York, is being awarded a $10,660,673 firm fixedprice contract to provide for 33 Very High Speed Integrated Circuit FireControl Computers and 5 E5690 memory expansion modules applicable thereto forthe F-15 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed September 1998.Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Therewas one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began February1996 and negotiations were complete March 1996. This effort supports foreignmilitary sales to Israel. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air ForceBase, Georgia, is the contracting activity (F09603-96/C-0274).

NAVY

Vitro Corporation, Rockville, Maryland, is being awarded a $8,371,000cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide technical services to support theStrategic Systems Programs (SSP) associated with weapon system integration,facilities, security, training, logistics, and special test equipment supportfor the United Kingdom (100%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program.Work will be performed in Rockville, Maryland, and is expected to be completedby March 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's StrategicSystems Program, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity(N00030-96-C-0049).

Kearfott Guidance & Navigation Corporation, Wayne, New Jersey, is beingawarded a $14,978,221 modification to previously awarded contractN00030-95-C-0047 to provide 20 inertial measurement units (IMU), 40 failureverification/repair and recertification units, 18 IMU recalibrations and 6 IMUintegrated production capability maintenance (IPCM) hardware sets for theTRIDENT II (D5) missile MK-6 guidance system. This contract combinespurchases for the United States (59.5%), and the United Kingdom (40.5%) underthe Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in Wayne,New Jersey, and is expected to be completed by June 1998. Contract funds inthe amount of $7,204,125 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and twooffers received. The Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Arlington, Virginia, isthe contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a$19,262,921 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide technical engineeringservices to support the United Kingdom Polaris (A3) and TRIDENT II (D5) MissileSystems Programs. This contract supports the United Kingdom (100%) under theForeign Military Sales (FMS) Program. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale,California, and is expected to be completed by March 1997. Contract funds willnot expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was notcompetitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Arlington,Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00030-96-C-0059).

Grumman Aerospace Corporation, (Northrop/Grumman Corporation), Bethpage, NewYork, is being awarded a $34,511,000 advance acquisition contract for two GroupII E-2C aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Augustine, Florida (75%),Bethpage, New York (24%), and Milledgeville, Georgia (1%), and is expected tobe completed by May 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of thecurrent fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The NavalAir Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity(N00019-96-C-0049).

Boeing Helicopters, Division of Boeing Company, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, isbeing awarded a $5,720,000 ceiling-priced order for 44 forward blade assembliesfor H-46 helicopters. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania(81%), and Gardena, California (19%), and is expected to be completed byOctober 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscalyear. This contract was not competitively procured. Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company, AntiSubmarine Warfare Directorate, Nashua,New Hampshire, is being awarded a $5,902,000 firm-fixed-price contract for animproved reliability/maintainability replacement for the ASA-82 Tacco/SensoMulti-Purpose Display

in support of the S-3B aircraft. This contract contains options which, ifexercised, will bring

the cumulative value of the contract to $8,900,000. Work will be performed inNashua, New Hampshire, and is expected to be completed by March 2001. Contractfunds will not expire

Nova/Staite, (a joint venture), Napa, California, is being awarded a$51,768,650 firm-fixed-price contract for dredging along a quaywall and turningbasin and an aircraft carrier wharf at the Naval Air Station, North Island, SanDiego, California. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and isexpected to be completed by April 1998. Contract funds will not expire at theend of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with425 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Naval FacilitiesEngineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, California, is thecontracting activity (N68711-93-C-1424).
