Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary of Defense Rudy de Leon are in Washington today. There are no public or media events on their schedules.
The regular DoD news briefing will be held today at 1:30 p.m. in the DoD briefing studio, Pentagon room 2E781. The briefer will be Rear Adm. Craig R. Quigley, deputy assistant secretary of Defense for public affairs.
There will be a limited evacuation drill today at 2 p.m. in the Pentagon between Corridors 5 and 6, first through fifth floors. For details see the press advisory and the Pentagon building circular.
