ARMY

Robertson Aviation*, Tempe, Ariz., was awarded $9,209,739 on Feb. 28, 2001, as part of an $81,240,057 firm-fixed-price contract for 65 Crashworthy Extended Range Fuel System II (CH-47D) A-Kits, and 13 B-Kits, and related technical support. Options will be included for calendar years 2002 to 2004. Work will be performed in Tempe, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 11, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-01-C-0094).

Alliant Techsystems Inc., Hopkins, Minn, was awarded on Feb 28, 2001, a $5,034,000 firm-fixed-price production contract for the manufacture, inspection, testing and delivery of 3,500 Portable Inductive Artillery Fuze Setters (M1155), and associated replenishment parts. Work will be performed in Hopkins, Minn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 16, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 12, 2001. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAE30-01-C-1040).

NAVY

Arinc Inc., Annapolis, Md., is being awarded a $33,940,158, indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide engineering and technical support for various mine warfare systems being developed, modified or supported by the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Coastal Systems Station. Work will be performed in Panama City, Fla. (80%), Alexandria and Fairfax, Va. (20%), and is expected to be completed by Feb 2006. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured as a full and open competition with one offer received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Coastal Systems Station-Dahlgren Division, Panama City, Fla., is the contracting activity (N61331-01-D-0025).
