ARMY

McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co., Mesa, Ariz., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $6,392,000 as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAH23-98-G-0049, for the purchase of Tactical Engagement Simulation System (TESS) Phase IV for the Longbow Apache Helicopter. Work will be performed in Mesa, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on April 5, 1999. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Bechtel Bettis, Inc., Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, West Mifflin, Pa., is being awarded a $33,489,280 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-4064 for Naval nuclear propulsion work. Work will be performed in West Mifflin, Pa. Contract funds in the amount of $12,133,280 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Geo-Seis Helicopters, Inc., Fort Collins, Colo., is being awarded a $20,300,000 fixed-price contract for the services of two SA-330J Puma helicopters to provide ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore logistics services supporting a U.S. Navy combat stores ship (T-AFS class). This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to $31,200,000. Work will be performed in the Mediterranean Ocean and Atlantic Ocean areas of operation, and is expected to be completed by December 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 20 proposals solicited and five offers received. The Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00033-00-C-1000).

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $14,057,224 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-98-C-0136 to exercise an option for the special progressive aircraft rework, other depot level maintenance and support services for the VH-3D

and VH-60N executive mission helicopters, component repairs, technical publications, pilot and maintenance training, security requirements, and logistics and engineering support. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by March 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $14,057,224 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
