DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

General Electric Co., Aircraft Engine Group, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $6,337,800 firm-fixed-price contract for afterburner flameholders. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (F34601-97-D-0002-XHDX).

ARMY

Brazos Roofing International of South Dakota Inc.*, Waco, Texas, is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order), with a base year total of $50,000,000 and a cumulative total not-to-exceed $150,000,000 if two option years are exercised. The contractor will provide emergency temporary roof repairs in support of contracts for disasters or emergency missions. Work will be performed in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 20, 2002. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on June 1, 1999, and eight bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Ft. Shafter, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (DACW83-00-D-0001).

Rust Constructors Inc., Birmingham, Ala., is being awarded $250,000 as part of a $10,000,000 (base year total) firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, with a not-to-exceed cumulative total of $50,000,000 if all options are exercised. The project consists of repair and minor construction and real property maintenance services in support of Anniston Army Depot. Work will be performed in Anniston, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on April 23, 1999, and ten bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAE20-00-D-5004).
