DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Raytheon Systems Company, Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a $40,000,000 indefinite-quantity contract for industrial supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 19, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0500-99-D-BP06).

Bergen Brunswig Medical Corporation, Orange, Ca., is being awarded a $10,233,500 firm-fixed-price modified-requirements contract for medical and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work will be performed in Lake Zurich, Ill., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 26, 2000. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-D-7107).

DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY

Dairy Maid Dairy, Inc., of Frederick, Maryland was awarded a $8,401,775 Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract on October 20, 1999, to provide dairy products in various DeCA commissaries located in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. areas. Work will be performed at Frederick, Maryland with deliveries of dairy products to various DeCA commissaries located in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. areas with a contract completion date of July 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Sixty firms were solicited and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the Defense Commissary Agency, Contract Management Business Unit, Subsistence Division, 5258 Oaklawn Boulevard, Hopewell, Virginia 23860-7336 (DECA02-99-D-0031).

AIR FORCE

Technical and Management Services, Calverton, Md., is being awarded a $75,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, F09603-99-D-0382, to provide for technical order and systems services in support of Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., for up to five years. This effort will include digital capture and/or conversion of technical orders, editorial changes and revisions, storage, retrieval, distribution, library services, and related administrative and technical support. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. There were 60 firms solicited and 12 proposals received. Expected contract completion

NAVY

KAPL, Inc., Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a fixed threshold $142,500,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-91-C-4355 for Naval nuclear propulsion work. Funds in the amount of $15,828,000 will be obligated at contract award. Contract funds in the amount of $10,129,920 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Work will be performed in Schenectady, N.Y. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Data Link Solutions, a limited liability company, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $39,897,225 firm-fixed-price option exercise for the U.S. Air Force Multifunctional Information Distribution System - Fighter Data Link (MIDS-FDL) program. This option exercise is for the production of 162 active Air Force production terminals, 27 Air National Guard production terminals, and eleven MIDS-FDL production spares terminals and MIDS-FDL pilot production warranty. The terminals will provide Air Force F-15 aircraft with Link 16 capable terminals that are secure and provide navigation and identification capabilities. Work will be performed in Rapids, Iowa (50%) and Wayne, N.J. (50%), and is expected to be completed by November 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $2,700,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The base contract was competitively procured through Commerce Business Daily with two offers received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00039-96-C-0038).

Synetics Inc., Wakefield, Mass., was awarded a $30,915,276 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for munition support including research, development, test and evaluation, and in-service engineering for a variety of sophisticated Navy weapon systems and components at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division. Work will be performed in Dahlgren, Va., and is expected to be completed by October 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet and two offers were received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N00178-00-D-1002).

EG&G WASC, Inc., Rockville, Md., was awarded a $15,053,178 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-6411 to exercise an option to provide program management, acquisition, engineering and logistics support services for the Virginia Class Submarine Program Office (PMS 450) and the Submarine Electronics Systems Program Office (PMS 401). Work will be performed in Arlington, Va. (95%) and Manassas, Va. (5%), and is expected to be completed by December 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $4,217,462 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
