DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

MCI International Incorporated, 8200 Greensboro Drive, McLean, VA, is being awarded a firm-fixed price contract for a total life cycle cost of $8,848,130.00, for an estimated service life of thirty-six months. This contract award is for a DS-3 circuit from Sacramento, California, to Yongsan, Republic of Korea, in support of the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) backbone network. This procurement was conducted under full and open competition. The solicitation was published on the Internet (DISA Acquisition Bulletin Board), with one offer received. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott AFB, IL, is the contracting activity (DCA200-96-H-0044).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Sterlingwear of Boston, East Boston, Mass., is being awarded a $5,260,282 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for women's and men's melton blue (peacoat) overcoats. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 18, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-98-D-1017).

Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $65,838,476 price-redetermination contract for helicopter spare parts. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 18, 2003. The Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO400-00-D-9402).

ARMY

Caddell Construction Co., Montgomery, Ala., is being awarded a $14,780,030 increment as part of a $64,261,000 modification to firm-fixed-price multiyear contract DACA21-99-C-0047, bringing the cumulative total to $98,546,000. The project is for construction of 1st Brigade Area Barracks Complex, Phase II. This phase of the project consists of construction of 6 barracks buildings, 2 soldier community buildings, 4 double company operations facilities, 3 battalion headquarters, 1 brigade headquarters, and 1 dining facility, with associated sitework

and utilities. Work will be performed at Ft. Bragg, N.C., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 161 bids solicited on March 23, 1999, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Ga., is the contracting activity.

Battelle, a not-for-profit organization, Columbus, Ohio, is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee task order contract, with a base year total of $9,659,184, and a cumulative total of $51,282,922 if all options are exercised. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each task order. The contractor will provide advisory and assistance services in support of studies conducted under Office of Management and Budget Circular A-76 or other privatization/commercial activities studies, projects or efforts for the U.S. Army Cost and Economic Analysis Center and the U.S. Army, including but not limited to, Headquarters, Major Commands, Installations, Agencies and Activities. Work will be performed in Columbus, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 18, 2004. There were 55 bids solicited on May 17, 1999, and 15 bids were received. The Defense Supply Service-Washington, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (DASW01-99-D-0033).

Management Analysis Inc.*, Vienna, Va., is being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee task order contract, with a base year total of $8,612,456, and a cumulative total of $45,724,697 if all options are exercised. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each task order. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each task order.
