Stateside Units Named For Possible Deployment To Bosnia

WASHINGTON, Dec. 11, 1995 – Twenty-two active duty U.S. Army and five Air Force units have been named for possible deployment in support of NATO's peace implementation force in Bosnia, according to DoD officials.

In some cases, only part of the unit may deploy and some individual service members with unique specialties may be sent to augment units deploying to Bosnia.

DoD identified the following units for possible deployment:

Fort Campbell, Ky.

     5th Special Forces Group

Fort Meade, Md.

Fort Bragg, N.C.
     4th Battalion, 325th Parachute Infantry Regiment
