CONTRACTS

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Eagle Aviation, Inc.*, Kalispell, Montana, is being awarded a $16,006,012 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for diesel fuel number 2; midgrade unleaded gasoline; regular unleaded gasoline; and diesel fuel number 1. Two hundred thirty three sealed bids were solicited and forty four were received. Work will be performed in Arizona, California, and Utah and is expected to be completed by August 31, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting activity (SP0600-96-D-4628).

Davidson Metals Corp.*, Farmingdale, New York, is being awarded a $5,013,493 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for aluminum alloy sheets. Seven proposals were solicited and six were received. Work is expected to be completed by July 25, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Industrial Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (SP0500- 96-D-0097).

AIR FORCE

Bechtel National Incorporated, San Francisco, California, is being awarded an $11,600,000 face value increase to a firm fixed price contract to provide for prime mission equipment, and site construction and installation support for 18 tactical weapon storage vaults (6 at each base) at Araxos Air Base, Greece; Akinci Air Base, Turkey; and Balikishir Air Base, Turkey. Contract is expected to be completed October 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (F19628-88/C-0045, P00077).

NAVY

Phillips National Incorporated,* Solana Beach, California, is being awarded a $7,933,816 firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity contract to provide facility, appliance, pool and grounds maintenance, refuse collection and disposal, and custodial services for approximately 1,135 housing units in Central San Diego. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by August 2001. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 144 firms solicited and eight offers received. The Officer in Charge of Construction, Navy Public Works Center, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity (N63387-95-D-0069).

General Electric Company, General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $22,440,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-95-C-0132 to exercise an option for 12 F404-GE-402 engines for the F/A- 18C/D aircraft. Work will be performed in Lynn, Massachusetts (78%); Wilmington, North Carolina (3%); Madisonville, Kentucky (11%); Rutland, Vermont (4%); and Albuquerque, New Mexico (4%), and is expected to be completed by March 1998. Contract funds would not have expired at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Incorporated, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $36,219,673 cost-plus- incentive-fee contract for Predator Medium Altitude Endurance (MAE) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) system hardware. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by March 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00019-96-C-0121).

Bath Iron Works Corporation, Bath, Maine, is being awarded a $7,877,409 cost-plus-award-fee contract for lead yard class services on the DDG 51 Class AEGIS Destroyers . Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by December 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00024-96-C-2800).

ARMY

Computer Science Corporation, Falls Church, Virginia, is being awarded $100,000 of a $30,537,543 increment as part of an estimated $160,910,724 cost plus award fee contract for support of the electronic proving ground located at Fort Huachuca, Arizona and Fort Lewis, Washington to include scientific, engineering augmentation, research, development, fabrication, test and evaluation, operation and maintenance of test facilities. Work will be performed at Fort, Huachuca Arizona (75%) and Fort Lewis, Washington (25%), and is expected to be completed by March 14, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 43 bids solicited on December 20, 1995 and 3 bids received. CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, Oak Brook, Illinois, is being awarded a $300,000 increment as part of a $14,896,070 fixed price construction contract for placement of approximately 2,481,000 cubic yards of beach fill onto North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; monitoring of sea turtles and right whales, mobilization/demobilization, surveys and protection of existing structures. Work will be performed in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 29 bids solicited on May 14, 1996 and 4 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston, South Carolina (DACW60-96-C-0016).
