ARMY

FMC-Arabia, Limited, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is being awarded a $15,010,000 modification to a firm fixed price, cost reimbursement/definitization of letter contract for Saudi contractor logistics support for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System. Work will be performed in Santa Clara, California (10%), and various locations in Saudi Arabia (90%), and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on September 1, 1993. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-94-C-A001).

Utility Tool and Body Company, Incorporated*, Clintonville, Wisconsin, is being awarded an $11,946,330 (maximum) firm fixed price/three year requirements contract for an estimated minimum of 168 (estimated maximum 750) M1061A1 5-ton general purpose flatbed trailers and an estimated maximum of 240 M1073 7.5-ton general purpose flatbed trailers. Work will be performed in Clintonville, Wisconsin, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2000. Of the total contract funds, $539,240 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 73 bids solicited on November 2, 1994, and 3 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-95-D-R011).

M. A. Mortenson, Bellevue, Washington, is being awarded a $26,490,000 firm fixed price contract for construction of a Battalion Barracks Complex. The project will include two three-story, 60,000 square foot barracks for 200 people each; three two-story, 16,000 square foot Company Operations and Supply Buildings; one one-story, 15,000 square foot Battalion Headquarters Building; and all supporting infrastructure. Work will be performed in North Fort Lewis, Washington, and is expected to be completed by April 12, 1997. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 200 bids solicited on March 13, 1995, and 7 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle, Washington (DACA67-95-C-0045).

ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY

AT&T Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, New Jersey, is being awarded a $2,000,000 increment as part of a $7,009,722 cost-share contract for the design of a prototype projection electron-beam lithography system. Work will be performed in Murray Hill, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed by April 21, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract. The contracting activity is the Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Virginia (MDA972-95-C-0013).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Luhr Brothers, Incorporated, Columbia, Illinois, is being awarded a $2,000,000 increment as part of a $42,648,694 firm fixed price contract for construction of a sheetpile wall and rock revetment structure along an 8 mile segment of land at Sargent Beach. The purpose of the project is for protection from the Gulf of Mexico due to severe erosion which ranges from 25 to 36 feet annually. Work will be performed in Matagorda County, Texas, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 106 bids solicited on February 14, 1995, and 15 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston, Texas (DACW64-95-C-0027).

NAVY

J.B. Denny Company, Virginia Beach, Virginia, is being awarded a $14,275,259 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) at Naval Station, Norfolk, Virginia. Work is expected to be completed by March 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 300 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N62470-93-B-3232).

McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded a $19,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee order against a basic ordering agreement for the development of three pallet-mounted Combined Interrogator/Transponder (CIT) Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) flight test systems; two production representative CIT flight test systems; and all the necessary integration and testing required to incorporate one CIT IFF system into an FA-18C/D aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed by December 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00019-94-G-0291).

Matrix International Logistics, Inc., Alexandria, Virginia, is being awarded a $40,016,193 fixed-price requirements contract for the transportation of approximately 165,000 measurement tons of cargo between a variety of U.S. and European points to more than 53 locations in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Khazakstan. This cargo movement is part of the $1.6 billion Cooperative

Threat Reduction Program, authorized by Congress under the Nunn/Lugar Legislation of 1991, which provides for the dismantlement of nuclear and chemical weapons and establishes safeguards against nuclear proliferation in the former Soviet Union. The basic contract performance period is one year. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 65 proposals solicited and ten offers received. The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, Central Technical Activity, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N62387-95-D-9511).

AIR FORCE

Honeywell, Incorporated, Saint Petersburg, Florida, is being awarded a $7,290,000 face value increase to a Firm Fixed Price contract for 108 Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System units applicable to the Army AH-64 Apache A+ helicopter. Contract is expected to be completed April 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94-C-0002/P00009).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

National Beef Packing Company, Kansas City, Missouri is being awarded an estimated $36,544,010 firm fixed price contract to provide resale commissary beef items. Ninety proposals were solicited and five were received. Work will be performed in Liberal, Kansas and is expected to be completed by April 1996. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year.
