Motorola, Inc., Government and Systems Technology Group, Tactical Electronics
Division, Scottsdale, Arizona, is being awarded a $9,634,950
cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for advanced development, with an option for
engineering and manufacturing development, of the EX419 multi-
function
fuze program, in support of shipboard gun weapon systems. Work will be
performed in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by May 1997.
Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This
contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command,
Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00178-95-C-1004).
CORRECTION
Navy contract N00039-95-C-0072 with Loral Federal Systems Company, Manassas,
Virginia, in the amount of $36,500,000, originally announced on April 10, 1995,
incorrectly specified the competition of the contract. This contract was
competitively procured with four proposals solicited and four offers received.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the
contracting activity.
AIR FORCE
CCL Incorporated, Bethesda, Maryland, is being awarded a $9,478,937 indefinite
delivery contract for manufacture, installation and maintenance of up to seven
central processing units applicable to the computer systems of the Defense
Information Services Organization. Contract is expected to be completed April
2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Seventy-nine firms were solicited and 12 proposals were received. The
solicitation was issued in November 1993 and negotiations were completed in
February 1995. Headquarters, Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force
Base, Massachusetts is the contracting activity (F19628-95/D-001).
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
Eagle Aviation Inc.*, Kalispell, Montana was awarded on April 19, 1995, a
$9,147,796 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract to provide #1
low sulfur diesel fuel, regular unleaded gasoline, #2 burner oil, #2 high
sulfur diesel fuel, and regular unleaded gasohol. Three hundred twenty
proposals were solicited and ninety-one were received. Work is expected to be
completed by May 31, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal
year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Alexandria, Virginia is the contracting
activity (SP0600-95-D-4535).
Mallinckrodt Sensor Systems, Ann Arbor, Michigan was awarded on April 19, 1995
estimated $8,452,925 firm fixed price indefinite quantity contract to provide
blood gas analyzers. Ten proposals were solicited and five were received. Work
is expected to be completed by March 27, 1997. Funds will not expire at the
end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania is the contracting activity (SP0200- 95-D-8514).
