Historic Preservation Grant Program Proposed Rule Readoption

The New Jersey Historic Trust announces the proposed readoption of rule N.J.A.C. 5:100 for the Historic Preservation Grant Program established under the  "New Jersey Green Acres, Cultural Centers and Historic Preservation Bond Act of 1987," P.L. 1987, c. 265, the "New Jersey Green Acres, Clean Water, Farmland and Historic Preservation Bond Act of 1992", P.L. 1992, c. 88, and the "New Jersey Green Acres, Farmland and Historic Preservation, Blue Acres Bond Act of 1995", P.L. 1995, c.204, administered by the New Jersey Historic Trust from 1990 through 1997, which are due to expire February 2, 2009, to facilitate the reallocation of the Historic Preservation Bond Program lapsed grant funds and accrued interest residual balances consistent with grant awards made through the Garden State Historic Preservation Trust Fund Grant Program, also administered by the New Jersey Historic Trust, established under the "Garden State Historic Preservation Trust Act of 1999",  P.L. 1999, c.152, (N.J.S.A. 13:8C-1 et seq). 

 

The sixty (60) day public comment period for the proposed amendments will begin July 21, 2008, and end September 19, 2008.  Full text of the proposed readoption can be found in the New Jersey Register at N.J.A.C. 5:100.  Copies of the proposed rule readoption may be obtained by calling the New Jersey Historic Trust at 609-984-0473.   Comments must be submitted in writing by September 19, 2008 to: Dorothy P.
