Acute Health Effects: From MSDS
Emergency Overview: This material is a milky white liquid with a mild odor and a flash point greater than 200 F. It is used as a stain and finish remover for wood including decks and siding.

Primary Routes of Exposure: Eye, Skin, Inhalation

Potential Acute Health Effects:
Eye: CORROSIVE. Substance can cause severe eye irritation and permanent eye damage.
Skin: Substance is CORROSIVE. Can cause skin irritation, redness, burns, dermatitis.
Ingestion: Can cause gastrointestinal tract irritation including burning sensation in mouth, throat, and esophagus. Can be harmful or fatal is swallowed.
Inhalation: Can be harmful if inhaled. Can cause respiratory tract irritation.

Carcinogenicity: From MSDS
This material is not considered a carcinogen by IARC or NTP and is not regulated as a carcinogen by OSHA.
First Aid: From MSDS
Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Call physician or poison control center immediately.
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and large amounts of water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. Wash clothes before reuse.
Ingestion: If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Give victim large quantities of water or milk. Call physician or poison control center immediately. NEVER GIVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH TO AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON.
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get immediate medical attention.

Note to Physician: There is no specific antidote for effects from overexposure to this material. Treatment should be directed at the control of symptoms and the clinical condition.

Avoid breathing vapors and mists. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Observe good personal hygiene practices and recommended procedures. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep in closed, labeled container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well shaded, ventilated area. Protect from physical damage. Maintain good housekeeping.
Disposal: From MSDS
