Visitor's Center
The new Visitor’s Center is expected to be the first stop in a visitor’s encounter with the falls area. Inside the center, a three-dimensional relief map outlines major park facilities. Other exhibits show the area’s geology and history and illustrate Native American life. Another display advises visitors how to stay safe in the park, such as staying within the barrier at the falls, avoiding cliffs, and refraining from wading in the river. The center also offers the opportunity to learn about the history of Cumberland Falls.
