  Nursing Scholarship Service Commitment Salary
  Question
Who pays the salary of a Nursing Scholar fulfilling the service commitment?
  Answer

The health care facility that employs the Nursing Scholar pays the scholar's salary. Each Nursing Scholarship recipient negotiates his/her own salary and benefits packages with the critical shortage facility where he/she is employed after graduation.

There is no "typical" salary. Salaries vary by employing facility and location.

For more information, see Fulfilling the Service Commitment (Applicant Information Bulletin).
