Healthy Generations: The Impact of Childhood Poverty on Health and Development (Volume 4, Issue 1, May 2003)

This newsletter examines the effects of poverty on children's health and development. It includes information on the official definitions of poverty; mediators of poverty including nutrition and health; home and neighborhood environments; parent-child interaction; and child-centered approaches to alleviate the effects of poverty.
