adopted on April 6, 2003 by the New Mexico
Legislature to provide the state with the
capacities to manage and prepare for public
health emergencies. The act sets forth the
abilities to issue an enhanced public health
advisory and investigate the conditions
leading to the issuance, and the special
powers allowed during a public health emergency.
