Dr. Reef is the technical lead for rubella and CRS epidemiology in the MMR team in the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at CDC. She has been the technical lead for rubella and CRS in the US since 1996. She has published numerous articles on rubella and CRS in the US. She has also worked extensively with the Pan American Health Organization in promoting rubella and CRS elimination in the Western Hemisphere. In addition, Dr. Reef has worked extensively with WHO Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office in prompting rubella and CRS control.
