Web site gives detailed information about the diplomatic and consular services available from virtually every nation in the world. Specifications for each individual nation includes a listing of all of the official foreign embassies a country maintains, its staffing, addresses, maps, visa requirements and links to governmental home pages. Additionally, most country pages include information about immigration procedures, travel restrictions and other pertinent political and cultural information. Data is provided in two ways: a browsable, alphabetical listing of nations, and a searchable database with searching either by host or guest embassy.

Iran has not had an embassy to the United States since the revolution of 1979. This page is published by the Interest Section of Iran which represents it in the United States. General information about travel, visas, the Iranian government, and other such materials are offered both in English and Farsi.
