This book concentrates on rapid assessment instruments (usually 50 items or less) to measure change in clinical settings. The book is intended to help students and practitioners monitor and evaluate their practice. The measures include assessment of most of the common issues seen in clinical practice. Volume 1 contains scale items to use with couples, families and children. Volume 2 contains scales to be used with adults when the issue of concern is not based on family or couple relationships.

Measures are listed alphabetically. However, scales may be found indexed by a specific problem under the third part of the Table of Contents.
