Location

The site of the 2009 Conference will be announced in late February 2009.

Purpose

The primary purpose of the EIS Conference is to provide current EIS officers with experience in making scientific presentations in addition to

  • providing an opportunity for scientific exchange regarding current epidemiologic topics;
  • highlighting the breadth of epidemiologic activities at CDC;
  • providing a setting for strengthening the EIS professional network among new, current, and former EIS officers;
  • providing a forum for CDC programs to recruit new EIS officers.

Continuing education credit for this activity is pending.
