2005–2006 Commission Open Meeting schedule announced

Joseph T. Kelliher, Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, has announced the schedule for the Commission's open meetings for September 2005 through July 2006. Meetings will be held on the third Thursday of every month. The Commission does not meet in August. Previously announced open meeting dates for September through December 2005 no longer apply.

The open meeting dates for September 2005 through July 2006 are as follows:

September 15, 2005
October 20, 2005
November 17, 2005
December 15, 2005
January 19, 2006
February 16, 2006
March 16, 2006
April 20, 2006
May 18, 2006
June 15, 2006
July 20, 2006

The meetings, held at the Commission's headquarters at 888 First Street, N.E., in Washington, D.C., are open to the public consistent with the Government in the Sunshine Act.
