decomposition may cause eye, mucous membrane and respiratory
irritation.

Acute Health Effects: From MSDS
Principal Hazards: This product is an inert, non-hazardous film with no odor.
� Exposure to vapors and fumes from heating the polymer to decomposition may cause eye, mucous membrane and respiratory irritation.
� Plastic can create a suffocation hazard when placed over the mouth and nose.

Oral Toxicity: No adverse effects expected from swallowing small amounts of this
material.
Eye Irritation: Any foreign body in the eye will cause irritation. No adverse effects are expected from contact.
Skin Irritation: No adverse effects are expected from normal contact. Molten or heated film may cause serious burns.
Dermal Toxicity: No adverse effects are expected.
Inhalation Toxicity: No adverse effects expected from the normal use of this product. Breathing vapors and fumes from heating the polymer to decomposition
may cause eye, mucous membrane and respiratory irritation.
Acute Toxicity Values: Acute oral doses of polyethylene at 7.95 g/kg fed to rats showed no adverse effects. Dietary levels of polyethylene of 1.25, 2.5 and 5
percent for 90 days did not produce signs of toxicity.
Sensitization: This product is not expected to cause skin or respiratory sensitization.
