Sacramento's Robert K. Rogers, Jr. appointed as Administrative Law Judge to Commission

Pat Wood, III, Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, today announced the appointment of Robert K. Rogers, Jr. as an Administrative Law Judge.

Since 1994, Judge Rogers has been an Administrative Law Judge at the Social Security Administration in Sacramento, California, where he presided over hearings involving social security claims. Before that, he was Assistant City Attorney for the City of Thousand Oaks, California, where he was the primary litigator for cases involving eminent domain matters, land use issues, and environmental law. He also served as the City Attorney for the City of South San Francisco and was in private practice for six years.

Judge Rogers served with the U.S. Navy's Judge Advocate General's Corps, attaining the rank of Captain.

Judge Rogers received his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and his J.D. from Brigham Young University Clark School of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
