Open meeting dates for remainder of 2006 announced

Joseph T. Kelliher, Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, has announced the schedule for the Commission's open meetings for September 2006 through December 2006. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month.

The dates for the January through July 2006 open meetings were announced earlier this year. The Commission does not meet in August.

The complete schedule for open meetings in 2006 is as follows:

• January 19, 2006
• February 16, 2006
• March 16, 2006
• April 20, 2006
• May 18, 2006
• June 15, 2006
• July 20, 2006
• September 21, 2006
• October 19, 2006
• November 16, 2006
• December 21, 2006

The meetings are held at the Commission's headquarters, 888 First Street, N.E. in Washington, D.C., and are open to the public consistent with the Government in the Sunshine Act.
