Term Investment Option

TERMLink

TERMLink is a Web-based application utilized by Term Investment Option (TIO) participants to view new auction announcements, submit competitive tenders, check the results of completed auctions and view outstanding activity statements. No special equipment, software or fees are associated with the use of TERMLink.

Help Line: If users have any questions or need assistance, users can call 1-800-333-0870 for support between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm E.T.

Convenience: TERMLink offers a convenient and "user-friendly" application to submit tenders for Term Investment auctions. TERMLink also allows users to view general auction announcements, auction results and individual institution auction notices.

Security: Security is provided by a secure server, requiring a username and password, as well as by data encryption using 128-bit encryption key. Transmissions between TERMLink and the user's browser are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a security standard. Each person authorized to access TERMLink on behalf of the institution is assigned an individual user access role, a unique user name and password.

Email Notification: When an auction is announced on TERMLink, the users designated to receive announcement notices will receive an email with a hyperlink to the TERMLink application to view the announcement details. If an institution has submitted a tender, the users designated to receive award notice emails will receive an email following the close of the auction with a hyperlink to the TERMLink application to view auction results. Users who are designated to receive award notices are also able to view activity statements on TERMLink.

View, Replace, Delete: There are numerous edits applied to assist the user in entering accurate data when submitting tenders. TERMLink also allows the user to view and print previously transmitted tenders as well as replace or delete those tenders prior to auction close if an error occurs while submitting a tender.

Screen Acknowledgment Notice: After a new tender is submitted, the user will receive a tender screen acknowledgment. This acknowledgement will replace the tender that the user submitted with the status (Received, Received Late, Rejected) as well as the date and time the tender was received by TERMLink. Treasury recommends that users print this notice as it will serve as the only record of tender submission.
