Vance, Jr. (202) 874-4700 Date: April 27, 1998 OCC ANNOUNCES 17 NEW ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS AND THREE TERMINATIONS WASHINGTON, DC --The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency today announced 20 enforcement actions taken against national banks. The 20 actions released today include: one formal agreement, five civil money penalties, two personal cease and desist orders, one cease and desist order, two personal cease and desist orders for restitution, one prompt corrective action directive, five removals/prohibitions, and three terminations of existing enforcement actions.
