Detailed Forecast Discussion |
Wednesday, January 14 -- A strong high pressure ridge will dominate the region, creating strong low-level inversions filling the valleys with widespread fog and stratus. Air quality will gradually worsen over time as poor mixing and sharp inversions continue to trap pollutants. Expect Air Stagnation Advisories to extend into the weekend and probably into next week. Air quality is in the good range as of Wednesday morning but is expected to worsen under the high pressure ridge. |
