Mid-Atlantic Regional Workshop for Historically Black Colleges And Universities (HBCUs) and Local Communities: Partnering through Emergency Management and Mitigation, including a section on "Opportunities for Higher Educational Institutions - The Indiana Model". This presentation was delivered at the "Mid Atlantic Regional Workshop For Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Local Communities Workshop: 'Partnering through Emergency Management and Risk Mitigation' held March 30-31, 2004, at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
FEMA conducted the workshop to promote emergency management academic and practical experience exchanges, opportunities for research and student/community service learning and partnership development between the 16 HBCUs and their communities in FEMA Region III.
