Detailed Forecast Discussion |
The coldest air of the season is poised to push through the Triad behind a cold front early Thursday. Temperatures may not rise above freezing from Thursday through Saturday. Arctic high pressure, responsible for the frigid weather will also help to keep the air quality clean and code GREEN. Particle pollution could briefly spike each morning in response to overnight inversions, but this should do little to the daily average; therefore, expect code GREEN AQI levels Thursday through Saturday (GENTRY). |
