Description of Job Duty Competency to be Achieved

Demonstrate the ability to administer the local cooperative program functions.


Description of Need

Must possess the skills and understanding of the requirements necessary to perform the functions of this program.


Specific Job Task Skills and Knowledge

1. Demonstrate the ability to accurately maintain the Cooperative Station Service Accountability (CSSA) and produce WS Form B- 44.

2. Demonstrate the ability to maintain accurate payroll accounts and prepare form CD-404 in support of this task.

3. Demonstrate the ability to properly maintain and administer the program budget.

4. Demonstrate the ability to successfully complete station inspections in accordance with NWS procedures.

5. Demonstrate the ability to administer the awards program.

6. Demonstrate the ability to maintain an adequate supply reserve.

7. Demonstrate the ability to conduct a proper site survey.

8. Demonstrate the ability to successfully train volunteer observers and coworkers associated with this program.

9. Demonstrate a knowledge of safe working practices.
