Description of Job Duty Competency to be Achieved

Demonstrates knowledge of program requirements and functions related to land based volunteer cooperative observer networks.

Description of Need

Must possess the skills and understanding of the requirements necessary to perform the functions of this program.

Specific Job Task Skills and Knowledge

1. Demonstrate knowledge of program mission to support climatological and hydrometeorological operations.

2. Understand the responsibilities related to operations and maintenance of the:

  • "a" network to support climatology requirements
  • "b" network to support hydrology requirements
  • "c" network to support meteorology requirements
