LACEY, Wash. -- The Issaquah Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), staffed by state and federal specialists, will transition to a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) operated by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
The Issaquah DRC will cease operations at 6:30 p.m. on Friday Jan. 26. The SBA DLOC will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 29. This DLOC will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday from Jan. 29 through Friday, Feb. 9.
At the DLOCs, SBA representatives are continuing to meet individually with each applicant to provide assistance in completing their disaster loan application, answer any questions about SBA's disaster loan program, and accept completed disaster loan applications. For the hours of operation and location of your nearest DLOC, call the SBA Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955. Anyone not able to visit a DLOC should call this number for SBA information and assistance or visit www.sba.gov .
FEMA has extended the deadline to register for federal/state assistance for those affected by the Nov.2-11 floods to Feb. 12 to ensure consistency of the application period with that of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). To register by Feb. 12, call the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA’s) toll-free number – 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), for speech or hearing impaired at TTY 1-800-462-7585, or online at www.fema.gov.
