 Henry McKoy is a former presidentially appointed member of the African Development Foundation (ADF), which is the principal agency of the U.S. government to support Africa. He also was the president of his own management consulting firm, assisting public and private sector organizations to carry out their organizational missions and to cope with change.
In 1995, McKoy was elected to the state senate in North Carolina and served on both the appropriations and budget committees. Previously, he served as deputy secretary of the North Carolina Department of Administration where he oversaw the Commission on Indian Affairs, the Human Relations Commission, the Council for Women, and the Governor's Commission on Citizens with Disabilities. He also served as director of the North Carolina Human Relations Commission and as executive director of the Greensboro, North Carolina, Human Relations Commission.
From 1984 to 1994, Mckoy was an adjunct instructor at the University of North Carolina's Institute of Government and North Carolina State University, teaching courses on local and state government. He is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in history education. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. |

 Jay Katzen was appointed as the regional director for Europe, Mediterranean, and Asia in February 2004. He brings with him extensive experience in international affairs, having served almost 25 years as a career Foreign Service officer in the U.S. State Department. He was Deputy Chief of Mission in Bamako, Mali, and Chargé d'Affaires in Brazzaville, Congo. Jay's other posts have included Australia, Burundi, Romania, and Zaire, and service at the United States Mission to the United Nations in New York. He was also Vice Chairman of the Board of the African Development Foundation. Most recently, Katzen served as a delegate in Virginia's House of Delegates where he represented the 31st legislative district of Fauquier, Rappahannock, and Warren counties.
Katzen earned bachelor's degree at Princeton University and a master's degree at Yale University. He was a visiting professor at the Boston College Graduate School of Management and has served on advisory boards at Duke University, the University of Kentucky, and Shenandoah University. |

 Prior to being appointed to her current position, Zanger served as director of domestic programs for the Peace Corps.
Prior to her Peace Corps service, Zanger served as director of school-community partnerships in the Kern County Superintendent of Schools Office in Bakersfield, California. In Kern County, she founded and served as program director for the Central Valley Communities for Children AmeriCorps Program.
Zanger's career includes several years in the Office of the California Attorney General as a deputy attorney general. She also served as the vice president of public affairs and general counsel of the Tejon Ranch Company, a publicly-held corporation headquartered in California.
Her Peace Corps experience began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama from 1993 to 1995. She earned a Juris Doctorate from Hastings College of the Law in 1980 and a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Pacific in Stockton, California, in 1977. |
