DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE

The Justice Department's National Advocacy Center, in conjunction with the Office of Information and Privacy, offers four different training programs on the Freedom of Information/Privacy Act. The schedule for the remaining courses in FY01 is as follows:

Freedom of Information Act for Attorneys and Access Professionals (two days of FOIA training and one day of Privacy Act training)
April 10-12, 2001, Columbia, S.C.
May 29-31, 2001, Washington, D.C.
June 19-21, 2001, Columbia, S.C.
August 28-30, 2001, Washington, D.C.

Freedom of Information Act, Introduction
July 18, 2001, Washington, D.C.

FOIA programs are also sponsored by the USDA Graduate School and the American Society of Access Professionals. These links can be used for these programs.

For the USDA Graduate School:
1. Select "Course Catalog"
2. Select "All Courses" and "Simple Search"
3. Enter "Freedom" and click on "Go to Step Two"
4. Choose "All States" or limit your search, and select "Submit Search"
