The 8-hour ozone standard can be exceeded anytime during a 24-hour day time period. Ozone health advisories are initiated during the day light hours, therefore it is possible that the ozone health standard is exceeded at an area and an ozone health advisory is not issued.

* Ozone values above 84 ppb exceed the ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard of 0.08 ppm.

† Eighteen health advisories were issued at Rocky Mountain National Park based on Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment advisory forecasts. There was one event when the ozone 8-hr average was greater than 84 ppb at the Park
