Statewide Asthma Education Programs

Program Description:

The current proposal for FY 05 continues and expands these efforts by broadening AAFA/AK’s focus to address allergies as they affect asthma, expanding community outreach to provide phone-in support for asthma patients, supporting the development of more comprehensive, routine asthma surveillance in collaboration with Alaska Asthma Coalition partners, and creating a statewide media campaign to inform Alaskans about the benefits of optimal asthma and allergy management.
