ANR Storage Company
ANR Storage is one of the largest developers of new storage facilities
and providers of underground natural gas storage services in the country,
with nearly 64 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of storage
capacity, providing peak-day withdrawal capability of over .8 Bcf per
day. A wide variety of services—ranging from high-deliverability peaking
to seasonal baseload—is offered to markets throughout the eastern half
of the United States.
ANR Storage owns
four storage fields in the northern portion of Michigan's Lower Peninsula
with total working capacity of nearly 56 Bcf. Great Lakes Gas Transmission
Company, Michigan Consolidated Gas Company and ANR Pipeline Company provide
immediate
transportation to, and from, the fields.
ANR Storage owns 75- and 50-percent interests in two additional storage
fields in Michigan, with total combined working capacity of nearly 60 Bcf.
