Overview
The Alcohol-Related
Disease Impact (ARDI) application enables users to easily access
alcohol impact measures and to generate a variety of reports using
either standard CDC data or custom data.
The types of
reports available are:
|
Features |
Generating Reports |
- You can
quickly generate reports using standard CDC data.
- You must
log in as a registered user to generate
reports using custom data you have created or edited. To generate
reports using standard data, you do not have to log in.
- After you
generate a report, you can display the data sets, change the view, download
the report data into a comma separated value file, or print the
report.
|
Working
with Custom Data |
- You must log in as a registered user
to work with custom data.
- Working with custom data includes viewing data sets,
creating editable copies of and editing data sets, deleting
data sets, and creating new data sets.
The following are examples of how ARDI users might use custom data:
Epidemiologists may enter custom data and generate detailed
reports in the course of performing research on alcohol impact
in a given population. They may also modify data to perform “what
if” scenarios to assess the impact of a change in one or more
data points to support alcohol abuse prevention programs.
Program specialists may use default ARDI data to quickly
answer specific questions (for example, How many alcohol-related
deaths were there in a state during a given year?). These results
will then likely be used to support program and policy decisions.
