WESTERN CIO NAMED TO EXECUTIVE SERVICE

LAKEWOOD, Colo.— Eun Moredock, Western Area Power Administration’s Chief Information Officer, was sworn in as a member of the Federal Senior Executive Service on Oct. 3.

As Western’s CIO, Moredock is responsible for leading the operation of Westernwide information technology programs and fulfilling key initiatives of the President’s Management Agenda. She is an integral member of Western’s senior management team and serves as an advisor to the Administrator and to other Western senior executives on information technology to improve business processes and to ensure cyber security and critical infrastructure protection.

“Eun brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Western’s information technology program,” said Mike Hacskaylo, Western’s administrator. “She has a long distinguished career in the Federal technology sector and is a great asset to Western. We are fortunate to have a person with her skills to continue the progress we have made in information technology management, performance and productivity at Western. As a member of the SES, she will continue to lead Western into the future of information technology to better serve our customers."
