Doing Business with the NJTA

Construction Services

NJTA Encourages E-Bidding

In an effort to simplify doing business with the NJTA and to make the bidding process easier, the NJTA encourages web-based electronic bidding for its construction contracts. The electronic bidding process includes access to new business opportunities, the ability to view and purchase project plans and specifications online, and the opportunity to prepare and submit bids electronically. Electronic bids have been accepted since June, 2004 and many contractors have taken advantage of not having to attend the bid opening and having the ability to make last-minute changes their bid.

Filming Policy and Application

For several years, numerous producers have requested permission from the Turnpike Authority to film on its right-of-way. The Turnpike Authority has decided that this written policy is necessary to clarify circumstances under which filming will be allowed along areas on the Turnpike and Garden State Parkway roadways.
