2008 Alaska Official First Day Coin Cover (Q58)
The 2008 Alaska Official First Day Coin Cover is the 49th in the series. This limited-edition cover – only 35,000 will be produced – features two Alaska quarters from the first day of mintage – July 14, 2008. The postmark of August 25, 2008, Denali Park, AK marks the day the Alaska quarters were first released to the Federal Reserve Bank and to the public. To ensure that all members of the public have fair and equal access to United States Mint products, any order placed prior to the official on-sale date and time (September 30, 2008, 12:00 Noon ET) shall not be deemed accepted by the United States Mint and will not be honored.
