San Isabel Electric Association announces new General Manager

Pueblo West, CO, September 24, 2008 – Today, the San Isabel Electric Association, Inc. Board of Directors announced the appointment of Reginal Rudolph as the general manager for the electric cooperative. Rudolph comes to San Isabel Electric from McLean Electric Cooperative, Inc. / MEC Services Inc. in Garrison, N. D. where he served as general manager. Rudolph also served as assistant general manager at Sheridan Electric Cooperative in Medicine Lake, MT.

Rudolph holds a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from North Dakota State University.

Overseeing the vision for the future of San Isabel offers many exciting challenges for the new general manager. Utilizing technologies to the full potential to enhance services available to members is something Rudolph believes in strongly. “One of my main goals is to make doing business with San Isabel an easy process for our members. Whether it’s signing up for new service, or paying the bill, we can achieve greater efficiencies by using the technologies available and that will benefit our members greatly,” said Rudolph. “I’m fortunate to have inherited a great group of staff members and employees and I look forward to working with them on these endeavors,” he said.

Rudolph (who prefers to be called Reg) arrived in Pueblo West with his wife Tamra and two boys, Dayley, 12 and Dalton 9. “I’m excited to be a part of the San Isabel community. The welcome my family and I have received has been tremendous,” said Rudolph. “It is much easier to move a 1000 miles across the country when there are friendly faces waiting to meet you,” he said.

San Isabel Electric Association, Inc. is a rural electric cooperative, serving over 23,000 members in all or parts of seven counties in Southern Colorado. The counties served are Pueblo, Huerfano, Las Animas, Otero, Custer, Costilla and Fremont. It is wholly owned by the people in these counties. The service area covers approximately 9,600 square miles, extending from Pueblo to the New Mexico border.
