The 9th OSS Airfield Operations Flight is responsible for every aircraft coming in and out of Beale, as well as for maintaining the safety of the airfield.

Block 20 program makes huge leap forward

FTAC welcomes Airmen to base
BEALE AIR FORCE BASE, Calif., -- When first-term Airmen arrive at Beale and finish reporting to their respective squadrons they, are registered for class at the First Term Airmen Center, sometimes before they begin their assigned jobs. The 10-day course consists of briefings, physical training and team building exercises to transition new Airmen from the tech school environment they came from, to the "one team, one fight" atmosphere at Beale.
