WESTERN RECOGNIZES AHWATUKEE RESIDENT FOR EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE

LAKEWOOD, Colo.—Ahwatukee resident Ron Moulton will receive Western Area Power Administration’s highest honor at a ceremony July 13 at Western’s Desert Southwest Regional Office in Phoenix, Ariz. Western’s Administrator Mike Hacskaylo will present Moulton with Western’s Exceptional Service Award during the ceremony.

“I congratulate Ron Moulton for making outstanding daily contributions to Western. Ron exemplifies our values by serving his customers and peers with great dedication. His skills, initiative and commitment help to make Western a premier power marketing and transmission organization,” Hacskaylo said.

Moulton’s keen sense of humor has served him and his co-workers well. His ability to maintain a positive attitude, even through tedious restructuring-related industry discussions and activities, is a welcome relief for his colleagues.

As a Restructuring Program Manager, Moulton receives Western’s highest award for exceptional service representing Western and its interests. Since he began his Federal career at Western 15 years ago, he is widely recognized by people within and outside of the agency as an expert in transmission management and operations. His outstanding leadership skills prepare Western as a whole for upcoming industry restructuring efforts.

Moulton spends his free time with his wife Linda and son Ethan.
