The NJ-REG process allows all businesses to register for all taxes and related liabilities to which a new business may be subject. It also covers filings of new business entities such as domestic or foreign corporations and limited liability companies. This process streamlines the formation/registration process without the need to contact and file papers with multiple State and Federal offices.

The forms to register for tax purposes and all of the Business Services (formerly Commercial Recording) documents used to record new business entities are included in the NJ-REG packet. Links to the forms referenced in the instructions are available below.

Both the NJ REG form and the Public Records Filing for New Business Entity may be filed online. If you prefer, you may submit these filings by mail or through the Walk-In Registration Program at the Business Services office. Contact information for Business Services is:
