The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs are designed to help people who probably need tax help the most...those with limited or moderate income, individuals with disabilities, non-English speaking and elderly taxpayers.

Seniors or disabled taxpayers are encouraged to contact the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) at their web address for the Tax-Aide program or call 1-888-227-7669.

Low-income taxpayers and those eligible for the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC) should call 1-800-829-1040 for a VITA site near them.
